Homecoming.

Homecoming needs another entry, because a hell of a lot was packed into those thirty-four hours.

The thing started, in my mind, on Saturday morning around 7:00a. The challenge was finding clothing that was warm, versatile, and purple if at all possible. With a success on this front, I made my way down to Alewife Station (where my bike was still intact) and attempted to use my ninja skills on jbdowse. With failure on that front, I entered Christine's car where she, massena and Seth were waiting. We then got on Route 2 and stayed there until we hit Williamstown.

When we arrived, the tailgate was without form and void, so massena, Seth, and I took to wandering. One loop through the Odd Quad and down Spring Street accomplished nothing. So we tried it again and ended up following tolchocky to the Mucho Macho Moocow Military Marching Band cookout.

And then there was proper tailgating. Ran into uprisingapathy and that was followed by further running into folk. [14 minutes until Diesel Cafe closes for the night.] Marching Band and osirusbrisbane were in top form. So was the football team, which earned a 51-21 victory against Wesleyan.

After the game, I became a 'Bethan for about thirty minutes, this being throughcomposed's idea. Fortune smiled on me and we sang "Mother, I will have a husband," which has the virtues of being in English, tonal, and in an easy vocal range.

Then dinner at Jae's Inn. [Seven minutes.] Back to the Odd Quad for role-playing peanut gallery, swing dancing, and a memorable night of drinking and frankness. So much more awesome than my crappy [Six minutes left.] description.

Floor sleeping gambit in tolchocky's room. Blair in the morning. Brunch with Odd Quad folks and then XC guys. The team has come a long way. As has Simonson. The Davitian Talk.

Then it was over and we were heading back to Boston. [Two minutes.] Amazing Game With Four with the car people. Finally, getting lost in Boston with tiny lord name girl. Done. [Time over. Blog post time!]
