Books and Spaceships
Haven't posted much in awhile, so I figured I'd give it a go.
I finished my run-through of editing on the third draft. I still have to get together with Ink, my trusty editor, for the final chapters, but I'm days away from having the finished final draft. Already did the book cover for the digest version (I think it's going to be a 5.5 x 8.5 inch book? Can't remember now...); just have to get the final draft, er, finalized, so I can register the ISBN and get the barcode for the cover. Then it's put it up on Lulu, update the website, and see what happens.
I'm pretty happy with the book. It finally feels like it's done, and I'm content with it being my first book. When it's finally all locked down, I'm going to put it up on the website as a free PDF... cause that's just the way I roll.
On to the spaceships.
This coming Tuesday is the second Order of Battle playtest. The game is really taking shape, and I have high hopes of bringing it to market next year (barring a true crash of the economy, of course). Right now, I'm working on spaceship board pieces.
