[The PCD is thumbed on, one of the rare times that Ciel posts to the network voluntarily. He seems a bit... distracted, for lack of a better world. Normally, he's so in control. Is it contrived, or real?

Take your best guess.]

Bullets are hard to come by in this place.

Is there anyone who might be familiar with knives?

[Of course, anyone who ( Read more... )

Bullets are for amateurs anyway.

But a knife's probably a good idea for someone like you.

[And your weak little wrists~

Also, that post was badass. Shut up, Ciel.]

If not a gun, I suppose.

[But his wrists have good aim, man.]

Well, with a gun, you can shoot from far away, so long as you've got decent aim. With a spear or sword or a heavier weapon like that, you have to get within range. With a knife, you have to move in even closer.

That makes guns look good, but then the moment someone gets past the bullets, you're dead. You'd never be able to use a heavier weapon. You don't have any of the training or the talent. [Waving it off.] Knives are easier to hide, and you can always talk someone into getting close enough.

[Guns are Ciel's strong point. Hunting is excellent practice, and he's a damn good shot despite his eyesight.]

Precisely the logic behind it.

[There are things wrong with you, Killua.]

You're the one who said that was the logic behind it. [A little snicker.

Dude, there is nothing wrong over here. Clearly everything that is wrong is wrong with Ciel. Because there is never anything wrong with Killua. Ever. Or else.]

I could help you, you know. If you're willing to show a little respect.

If I'm willing to abase myself for the benefit of your ego, you mean.

[... Killua probably would be the best bet for a teacher. He's skilled, strong, and could potentially be an ally, if a chaotic one, though it would be tricky to employ him in any useful manner.]

I show proper respect for my teachers. If you prove useful and valuable, I'll treat you accordingly.

Of course, I wouldn't expect you to go without payment.

[Bribery.]

Rhode used to gush over that butler guy's desserts.

[He's not afraid of appearing useless. Biscuit and Kisuke are his models for teachers, and Ciel will likely hate him immensely long before he even thinks to call Killua useless. Most training feels useless while it's happening anyway. It's afterward that you begin to see the results.

And if Ciel decides he's not worth it, at least he can try to squeeze some quality chocolate into the mix.]

It can be arranged.

[It would actually be good for him, probably. Maybe. Ish. He's has a LOT of teachers.]

Just "can be," huh?

[Ciel will probably end up hitting back. There will be yelling, etc.]

That depends on your decision.
