In a grid, from advantageous lookout points. We will also be mapping areas inhabited by both humans and supernatural creatures.

Those will be mostly for our own notes.

Of course, there may be one or two it will be difficult to find.

A wide view would be an advantage. [So up high most likely on top of something rather tall and towering]

It shouldn't be too hard if not somewhat time consuming.
