Emily and I decided tonight that movie theatre rating systems should be based on intelligence instead of age. Prior to seeing a film at a given theatre, movie-goers would have to take a test and register their score in a nationwide database. This score would determine if a person is intellectually and emotionally mature enough to see a given movie, and people could only purchase tickets if they qualify for the film.

The vast majority of people in the audience tonight did not appreciate "Friends With Money" because our system does not exist. Not to say it was the best film I've seen, but it was certainly better than many others I've encountered lately.
