Barney hadn’t asked her to marry him since he’d died.

The realization hit Robin all of a sudden, out of nowhere. When she thought about it, she felt silly - it’s not as if they ever were going to get married, even when they both had a pulse. But whenever the thought came back to her, she felt a little sick.

This is so great... I love the way he's trying to protect her by letting her think the law's the only reason they can't get married. Because he doesn't belong in the normal world anymore. This was lovely and sad and so much more eloquent than any of mine... I'm really limiting myself by sticking to 100-word chunks, aren't I?

And it's so, so sad, his entire thought process. Because it just goes to show how much they've changed, how far apart they are drifting.

And I kind of want her to keep asking him to marry her until he gives in.

Just becuase I'd love to see the groom's side of the family on that side of the church! Would he invite all the other zombies? Would sam flame-thrower them?

But, yeah, Barney's the only one who really realizes the reality of their situation. Robin's just glad to have him back.

I don't even want to start counting the number of fics I have. I know I wrote over 100 in one year and that was crazy town.

I'm truly intrigued by this whole zombie!Barney thing. It should be creepy but it's not.

Zombie!Barney is awesome. And, yeah, it should be a lot weirder than it actually is. Whatever.
