OK, so here's the beginning of Act One, which I pretty much entirely cannibalized from an older script. Character bible here, and snippet #1 here.
INT. - SUPERCAFé - DAY
A fifties-style diner with waiters and waitresses dressed up as superheroes. KATIE, a petite blonde, is dressed in a blue-and-white costume. She goes up to a table with a MOTHER and two rowdy BOYS.
KATIE
Hi, welcome to the Supercafé, the second-oldest superhero-themed diner in Middleton. My name is Princess Winter, and I --
BOY #1
You're not Princess Winter!
BOY #2
Princess Winter has bigger boobs!
MOTHER
Boys!
KATIE
(through gritted teeth)
Would you like to try the Mighty Man Pancakes?
Enter Patrick, casually. He sits down at a booth and waves at Katie. She shoots him an annoyed glare.
KATIE
(to the table)
Excuse me, I'll be right back.
She goes over to Patrick and puts her hands on her hips.
KATIE
What are you doing here?
PATRICK
(looks her up and down)
Princess Winter. When did you get promoted?
KATIE
Aren't you supposed to be at the bank?
PATRICK
(flipping through a menu)
What bank?
KATIE
OK, first of all, I'm pretty sure you have that menu memorized by now.
PATRICK
Katie, I have to check and see if they've added something new. Duh.
KATIE
And second of all, you know perfectly well what bank. It's all over the news.
PATRICK
The news is depressing.
KATIE
Patrick!
PATRICK
(puts down the menu)
Listen. The bank situation is not my problem.
KATIE
Whose problem is it, then?
PATRICK
I don't know. Someone who isn't me.
KATIE
You are the most irresponsible, lazy...
Her boss, DALE, a balding man in his mid-forties in a green and gold costume, comes up next to her.
DALE
Princess Winter, we don't pay you to chat to your friends.
KATIE
(takes a deep breath)
I'm trying to convince my friend here to go out and fight actual crime, sir.
PATRICK
You should really listen to your boss, Katie.
KATIE
Shut up.
DALE
(aghast)
And you're being rude to paying customers! I knew it was too early to entrust you with the Princess Winter persona.
KATIE
I've worked here for two years.
