I miss my piano so much right now. There's so many things I want to practice and try out. I am lucky enough to have two pianos... neither of which can be here in my home with me. DAMN IT.

Jaron just bought two new cds on iTunes. His computer is in my room. I'm very excited about this. They're making my heart jump out of my chest. Hearing new music that I like this much makes me want to run really fast in a field with no shoes on. HAHA that's so lame. Jeeze! This song is so happy.

Summer Fest went alright. I don't think I was too good. I like the bar setting better than the festival setting I think. But we have more of a stage at Linneman's. We didn't have to pay to get in. We got to park in the musician's parking lot. AND! we were brought to the stage through the crowd by golf cart. Everyone was looking at us like "whoa who's that"... (or maybe 'what tools') It was wicked awesome. Oh wait that's not the best part... it's that they don't check the performers bags so we could bring in our own alcohol. SO GOOD! Because otherwise summer fest is so expensive.
After the second day though, I got pulled over trying to cover a few hours for someone at Mobil and got a ticket for my plates being suspended so I have to go to court. it's shit.

The real news with me is this...
I worked at a Fireworks show on Saturday! It was AMAZING. One of the best things I've ever done in my life. Apparently Jaron's been doing this for like 14 years. I didn't realize how much he really was involved in it. So friggin cool. We didn't think I would get to do very much but I got to do almost everything! When we first got there I was not into it. I was nervous and I didn't want to seem stupid to all these people. Jaron went straight to this big truck and got on and started unloading things and telling people what to do and I had no instruction at all. I was standing there doing nothing. I felt like an ass so I just walked away and sat behind Jaron's car. Then Jaron's friend Scott went to his truck and saw me. He brought me over and told me that there were four guys there that had never done it before either. That helped a lot. Everyone was so nice. They gave me a drill and I started drilling racks together. After that they showed me how to wire. I WAS WIRING EXPLOSIVES! HOW COOL IS THAT! But I felt really comfortable doing it because I had great instructions and people were checking what I did anyway. It was amazing. THEN I got to light them, fire off the fire works. I got to run out onto a football field lined with fireworks and hand light big boxes filled with swirls. I got to light off so much stuff. It was just so incredible. One of the guys there took some nice pictures. I gave him my email address so we'll see if he ever sends me any. Oh man. So good. Once the show was over we had to undo everything and put it all back in the truck. I was still so pumped and ready to keep working. Then they let me drive the big truck while everyone loaded stuff onto the back. While I was doing that and one of my favorite songs came on the radio I found out that I was going to be payed for all that! I did not expect that at all. I was just so happy to be there and to be so involved. I must say though, I was so sore the next day. I felt like I had just finished an Olympic triathlon. It hurt so good. It was exactly what I've been needing. I'm still sore and I'm still on such a buzz from that amazing day. (that's the short version of that story)

I'm working on getting a new job that would be great for me. Wish me luck.
Right now I'm so nervous about a lot of things, but the thought of Fireworks and that my birthday is so soon is going to get me through this week.

Today is a glass full kind of day.
Even though it's hot as hell.

I love something!

it feels good.
