Sushi's Hideous Inner Fangirl
Well, I FINALLY finished all I needed to do for college. Man, financial aid is one BIG pain in the butt, isn't it? Jesus. Hopefully, my stress levels will decrease exponentially, now. x__x
So onward to day 3 of this... thing.
Oh jeez. Anime crush, huh? I don't like calling them crushes...haha. But shit, you can't help but like characters that are good lookin', right? Well, most of the time. Anyway, there are quite a few characters that I really like, but I think I can narrow it down to four characters. Four characters that I obsessed the hardest over. XD And by obsessing hard over... I mean I drew the shit out of them.
I will now list them in the order I "fell" for them. XP
I'll put them under a cut so this entry doesn't get stupidly long. =)
1. Trunks Briefs (DBZ)
Bahaha! Oh man. I remember being 12 and watching "The Future Of Trunks" movie.
Ohh~ Funny story! Well, actually... it isn't. But I'm gonna tell it anyway. XD
I lacked Cartoon Network as a kid... so once they took DBZ off of UPN50 I had no way of watching more episodes! They left me with one hell of a cliffhanger. Think it cut off halfway through the Freeza saga. Anywho! I went a year or two with no DBZ or anime at all, really. UNTIL ONE DAY... me and my dad were shopping around Target and I spotted two DBZ movies. "The Future Of Trunks" and "Bardock: The Father Of Goku" I kind of freaked out. "I don't know who the hell these people on the covers are! Goku's father?! He has one?! OMG. I'm...behind. Oh noes! Hey, dad. *pokes with movies* I can has, plz?" XD Donno if it was a good thing that he bought me both of them or not. I watched the shit out of those movies. And... yet another Trunks fangirl was born. /sigh
Also. Bardock has the best saiyan armor, imo.
Now, the reasons (other than his awesome movie) that I like him so much are simple. He has purple hair, is the son of Vegeta (another of my favorite DBZ characters) AND HE FIGHTS WITH A FREAKING SWORD. Oh sure. His sword truly only pwns one enemy (Freeza) (EDIT: Two enemies. I forgot Freeza's faggot father King Cold. XP) but you know what? I don't even care~ it's still awesome. I only wish more of his sword action (oh, that kind of sounds bad.) could have been shown. You know what? No, while I'm at it... I also really wish his "Burning Attack" had been shown more than once, because that's one cool lookin' move, bro. It's one of the most unique in the whole Dragon Ball Z series, that's for sure. All those...fast, unnecessary hand movements. (Oh. It kind of sounds bad again.)
2. Hiei
Oh man. I was such a Hiei fangirl, it makes me kind of ashamed thinking back about it...
I actually created a fucking mary-sue for him. DON'T JUDGE ME, 'CUZ I CAN/WILL/HAVE DONE THAT MYSELF! ;_______;
Anyway.
Even though I've grown out of that stupid phase I still really like him. Here is why:
At the time, all my friends (That watched the show, that is. Which was actually only like 3. XD) were Kurama/Youko fans. I never really saw the appeal. Well, Youko is pretty darn sexy. In fact, I still say InuYasha is a fail Yoko cosplayer. /cough
Ha. Not to mention, the roses reminded me of Tuxedo Mask.
So yeah. Hiei. I think the biggest reason why I liked him so much is because he shares many similarities with another character I really like. Can you guys guess? Let's take a moment to list Hiei's most distinguishing traits. He's got attitude, he's smart and arrogant, his hair comes to a point...oh...AND HE'S SHORT.

HE'S LIKE A LITTLE VEGETA CLONE! XD Not to mention... Chris Sabat wanted to do his voice. HA. But I'm glad Chuck Huber was his voice instead. Brilliant casting choice.
3. Alucard
Damn it, Alucard. Why is your crazy so sexy? I kind of adore that image, btw.
Oh man. I just fucking love Hellsing in general. I actually really like a lot of Hellsing characters, but Alucard takes the number 1 spot for a few reasons. And believe it or not, his craziness isn't one of them. (There's too many fucked up characters in Hellsing, bro.) It's... his gun. Have you ever seen a sexier gun? (That's what she said) I'd make sweet love to that gun.

I like that he fights with guns even though he really doesn't need them. Like, at all. I mean, how many vampires have met their gruesome fate by his hand jab thingy? "I HAVE THIS GUN TO SHOOT YOU WITH, BUT I'M JUST GONNA FINGER BANG YOU TO DEATH INSTEAD KTHX!"
Fucking. Awesome. Bro.
Also. I like how it's established in the very beginning how badass he is. I mean, there's none of that "Oh noes! He's losing, but he'll find some kind of strength from within to snatch a victory BECAUSE THIS IS A SHOUNEN ANIME/MANGA AND THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO IN THOSE!" Oh no. Alucard isn't losing anything. My friend called me out on that statement before by saying "Oh. But he looked like he was losing in the Anderson fight." True. But I'll repeat. It looked that way, but he really wasn't losing anything. There was no...looking inside himself, or drawing strength in love and friendship to beat up the bad guy. Alucard just has this nasty habit of not dodging...things. >_>
I MEAN ATTACKS! Jeez, get your minds out of the gutter. :P

4. Envy
YUP. It's Envy. I'm quite ashamed of how crazy I went over this character, too. I never went as far as creating any character to be with him, but I DID ship the fuck out Envy x Ed. /cough
I blame fanfiction.
Anyway, Envy is such a bastard. He's the character everyone loves to hate. I tend to have a soft spot for villians and here's why:
The series wouldn't be anything with out them. They make shit interesting. They make shit HAPPEN. And man, do those homunculi put the protagonists through hell. I like a few of the homunculi (Except for like...Wrath. (Manga Wrath) Go jump off a cliff, Wrath. Repeatedly. Until the dead sticks to you.) Envy is my favorite because he's evil and playful. Like... there are times in the manga where you can kind of (I said KIND OF) forget he's the bad guy...until he reminds you, that is. Funny and seemingly harmless one minute then- HO'SHIT HE PUTS ON HIS RAEP FACE AND IT'S TIME TO GTFO!
I absolutely HATE his voice in the dub, though. FMA is one anime I prefer in Japanese, bro.
