bon voyage~
So tomorrow morning (at far-too-early-o-clock) my dad, my mom, and I depart for the destination of the mystery graduation present trip to end all mystery graduation present trips. I'm totally ready, and totally pumped for it. (SRSLY, LETS FIVE RIGHT NOW)
I don't know how the two of them have kept wherever it is that we're going a secret for so long, since I know they've been planning it since at least December. I have my guesses, however, and (based on accidental slips and context clues from a few different people and hints dragged forcibly out of my parents) I think I know. (I won't say, though, because I'll be wrong and make an incredible fool out of myself.) Nevermind, I have NO FREAKING CLUE.
The one thing that just IRKS me is HOW MANY PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT ME KNOW WHERE I'M GOING. Like, my teachers, everyone in my family, people I meet on the street, probably all my mom's lj friends - basically everyone but me and my friends know (not because they'd tell me but because I forbade my mom to tell them because they'd hold it over me forever that they knew).
In other news, I finished my valedictorian speech today. I'll put it up here next Sunday after I've given it, because, although only one person who reads my lj *coughhermie809cough* is actually in my class, I don't want to risk anyone seeing it before I've given it. (Not even you, Captain Mango.)
In other other news, the new Bleach filler sucks epically major ass; i c whut u did thar, Tite Kubo, and I do not approve.
In other other other news, the Senior Banquet was the other night - I danced and got my senior shirt and danced and got my cap and gown and danced some more, all in about five-inch heels for four and a half hours. (Needless to say my thighs are still killing me two days, several advils, and lots of bengay later...) They showed our senior slideshow, which was cool. I must say, though, although I realize that the picture of me they used is essentially the essence of me, I also know there are pictures of me out there that don't feature me with a drawn-on beard and smoking a candy cigarette in my Asuma-sensei cosplay.
