I got an interview at Johns Hopkins! It's the first of the schools I've applied to that I've heard back from, so that's exciting!
I hit 35 posts over at Lady Geek Girl & Friends! I am particularly fond of my most recent opinion piece on Homophobia and Slash Fiction. (I had a lot of feelings when I wrote it.)
This is sort of old news, but a few months ago I wrote a submission for this Doctor Who and Race anthology, and to my great surprise and pleasure, they accepted my essay! I'm quite excited about it. (Also, it hit me the other day that if things go as the editor plans, I might actually see some infinitesimal royalties from it being published! Whoo money!)
Ohayocon was last weekend and it was awesome! Got to chill with kojonoyuri and kaerimichii (and another friend) all weekend, and it was great fun! :D (We did Reborn, Blue Exorcist, and Durarara!! cosplay, and it was awesome. :D)
