(no subject)
Finally back at school, and three days into classes, I realize that rather than doing my terrifying Japanese homework, that I should instead update my livejournal.
It's interesting settling into my apartment... the three of us here this semester have been friends since freshman year but have never actually roomed together, so it's sort of strange getting used to the boundaries and stuff. Mostly it's weird trying to plan things on campus together (like meeting for lunch, etc.) since we all see each other every day anyway. Things are already hundreds of times better than they were last year with demon!roommate so I am definitely le grateful.
I plotted out how I think Naruto should end today after reading this week's chapter. I am currently more pleased with my headcanon than with any other possible ending, and will be co-authoring the fic of the century with kaerimichii if things do not end the way I want them to.
I also have an idea for an epic KHR fic that will probably never be. But it's eating my brain and I has enough of a plot that I feel like it could work? Idk.
Classes aren't too heinous so far, although I expect I'll be eating my words shortly. I'm the only one in my year taking both 500-level Japanese classes, so it's entirely possible that I may die.
Job is also going well. The people in the office are all very nice. I did a lot of photocopying my first day. Still not sure how much I'm going to make per hour, but I'm only working five hours a week so hopefully a lot. >.>
Finally, had dinner with hermie809 today! It was lovely and we talked/gossiped (about ourselves) for quite some time. (Gotta get each other up to speed on all the sordid detailsof each other's lives, of course. ;D)
Annnnd now my Japanese homework is eating me (D:) so I must go.
