things and more things
My dearest LJ,
I apologize for neglecting you. I am a very bad eljayer, but it is not my fault. This past week I did approximately 1/3 of the sewing for a cast of 70 high schoolers performing Oklahoma. This past weekend I did all my homework for this upcoming week save a few things. This upcoming week (actually, ten days) I will be in Japan(!) so who knows whether I'll be up to posting or not. I have only skimmed my friends list since coming back from Japan three weeks ago and I have been atrocious at commenting on my amigos/amigas' stuff. Le sigh. Perhaps things will get better in the future.

Needless to say, Tekkoshocon was fun. I got to see kojonoyuri and wore lots of fun costumes. I may post pics some day if I feel like it. We made several terrible decisions, the worst of which was deciding to do almost all NEW costumes for Otakon this year, including a Kuroshitsuji group with Ballgown Ciel. Fml. However, we will have a six-person group each day this year and I am excited (and a little scared) for that.
As follows:
♥ Noah/D.Gray-man (Thursday): Road, Tyki, Jasdero, Devit, Lulubell, Skin.
♠ Kuroshitsuji group (Friday): Ciel, Sebastian, Grell, Madam Red, Undertaker, Lau
&diamonds; Ouran Host Club (Saturday): Tamaki, Kyouya, Hikaru, Kaoru, Haruhi, Mori (+plushie Honey)
♣ Oracion Seis arc group/Fairy Tail (Sunday): Natsu, Lucy, Leo, Erza, Gray, Jellal
Soooo yeah. Terrifying but also exciting, no? In the meantime I need to make mad dolares, however. (>.<)
I have approximately eight assignments left from all my classes. I'm hoping to get them done at the beginning of the trip so that, well, I can be DONE and also so that I can just relax and enjoy being on *vacation* in Japan rather than having an extended study hall in Japan.
I have to schedule my classes for my last fall semester tomorrow. It's kind of scary. (And inconvenient, as my scheduling time gets me right as I'll be boarding the plane to Chicago...) I'll be taking two Japanese topics courses (taught in Japanese) and writing a senior thesis about anime about the Meiji Era (quite possibly the coolest thesis ever, ne?) plus finishing up some music classes - and all of that comes out to one class/day MTW, two classes/day TF. (Hopefully I get into all of them... >.>)
and I can't think of anything else coherent to say (I've been up since 10:00 AM, and it's now almost 5:00 AM... :X) so I'm gonna snooze for two-ish hours before I hit the dusty old trail. :D Good night, my lovelies!
