CNN had a story on its main page today
about a Hamas commander's home that got blown up. A Palestinian medic took the opportunity to blame Israel:
"Most of the injured were women, children and elderly," Hasanain said. "This is a serious Israeli violation and a clear daily escalation, and this reveals the real Israeli intentions."
Never mind that the IDF said it had no operations in that area or that the home belonged to a terrorist, or as CNN put it, a "militant leader." Never mind that Hamas has apparently abandoned its ceasefire as evidenced by the rockets launched at Israel last week. These "work accidents" - the result of these "militants" bringing rockets home to work on/launch - are not uncommon in Gaza. But instead, this medic shot his mouth off to blame Israel without any evidence.
Fortunately, there are lots of comments on the article from people who are not as blind as this medic hopes.
Meanwhile, there's no mention of the rocket attacks on Israel and Jordan that killed one person yesterday.
