Been a Long Time, Hasn't It?
Well, well, where to begin? I'm working on finishing up two major projects this weekend, SugoiCon has already passed us by (pictures still not developed; I spent over $110 there), school year seems to be flying by, and the long-awaited OhayouCon trip gets closer every day. ^^~
SugoiCon was great, I went all three days this year, hanging around with Lin-Lin, Suzu-chan and meeting an anime n00b friend of theirs that has been dubbed Kiki-chan. Also met their friend Tony and his friend Alex, they were both pretty cool, V-chan didn't like walking to McDonalds in the cold though...Katie-chan was at RosettaCon in Chicago that same weekend, so we've been swapping stories. From V-chan's first rave to Katie's referee-ing of a yaoi/yuri war. Lol, and V-chan also panhandled on Sunday at Sugoi; I got $12, some instant ramen, candy and a key ring of a Bleach character from one of the vendors! Dude, I didn't think people would actually give me stuff if I acted pathetic...*baffled* Anyway, this year I bought --> Naruto Konohagakure headband, Tenchi Muyo! Ken-Ohki cabbit-hat (same lady I got my Luna hat from at Ikasucon), a Furi Kuri wallscroll, Noir soundtrack vol.1, Saiyuki Gojyo pin, Cowboy Bebop Ed pin, Princess Mononoke forest spirit ("the bobble heads") pin, "I *heart* catboys" pin (Robert DeJesus), "Don't hate the Cosplaya, hate the game." pin (Robert DeJesus), "Protected by Ninjutsu" pin (Robert DeJesus), and a very cool new black hoodie that features the DDR arrows and the words: "I can't dance without arrows." XD Bwahaha, it's just too great. I also liked some of the other shirts that lady was selling, "REMEMBER: After you pull the pin, Mr. Grenade is no longer our friend" was especially funny.
Yes I know they are very late, gimme a break. We just got a scanner and I'm busy...*grumpy*
The last one is me and Katie posing outside of the hall that we were about to watch the cosplay contest in. Lol.
Nyu, V-chan is going to see the new Zorro movie tomorrow, so she must get to work quickly on her fanfics. The good fans are waiting! Eeps, I feel so stupid now...><;
