Yeah, it's a totally creative title. xD So I had a work day today. BOO FOR WORKING SATURDAYS. Seriously, it like, kills a little bit of my soul every time I do it. Without getting into specifics, I work at the Help Desk that fixes a particular chain of retail store's managers' and keyholders' technological, policy, operations, personal and psychological crises. (Just kidding about the last two. (Kind of.)) If you ever thought the stereotypes of tech support were untrue... you know the ones I'm talking about, the ones where the technician works with the other person for like HALF A FREAKING HOUR restarting and verifying keyboard's connection and other stuff and it turns out to be the [censored] Num Lock being off? Yeah, they're true. Way, way too true. And on weekends, there's just one of us versus... I mean, to support, of course... 250 stores. Scary, scary stuff. And it means I have to work until 12:30 AM (on-call KILLS social lives) Friday night and then get up at the godawful hour of 7 AM on a Saturday, and that's just not humane no matter what country you're in, I've decided. And then stay awake until 10:30 PM and get up at 9 AM on Sunday and stay awake until 9:30 PM Sunday. That's like 28 hours. (Estimation alert, no bonus points will be awarded for 'lolz ur math sux its 27 hrs lololol' comments. Points will, however, be awarded if you like Shirley Temples. Gogogo.)
So what do I get up to in my boring hours waiting for the phone to ring? (...yeah, make that boring seconds XD).
FEED THE OTAKU OBSESSION. 8'D
I roleplay a verrrrrry AU (Alternate Universe) Death Note play. 8] I love it to death. Like, past death, to the afterlife, and to the next life too. xD It's an addiction, and it is the only thing that keeps me sane, and it is... it's just awesome. xD I love my roleplay partner, who's one of my best friends, and I have a ton in common with, and she has the most ADORABLE kittens!
~Luna~
~Mika~
Unless you hate kittens, you can't possibly not adore these two. <333
Nimue is the tabby and Merlin is the black and white one. Aren't they gorrrrgeous? <33
Where were we again? OH! DN play. =D. Addiction, heh. >_> It's so bad that I can list keywords for each of my favourite scenes so that when I'm searching through one of our THREE files of over 1,000 pages in Word (Times New Roman, 12-point, single-spaced), I'll get the right one. xD It's annoying to use something like "rose" because then you get "rose from his seat" and the colours of blushes and lips and assorted other things, but not the amazingly romantic scene you're looking for. xDD So if I use "red rose" and hit next a couple of times in file 3, I'll get the right scene. Yes, yes it is an addiction, why do you ask?
So anyway, our latest set of chars are... different. They require a bit of research sometimes. xD Which, of course, brings me oh-so-naturally to posting pics. You knew it was gonna happen soon.

(Quick note before we begin, I have my non-Asian but amazingly perfect and wonderful and Icouldboreyouforhourstalkingabouthim boy and I love him dearly and all. <3 I just have an otaku inside me that loves to get free. xD I don't mind him looking at Asian girls either, as long as he doesn't touch. ~_*;')
~~~Ken'ichi Matsuyama~~~
He's probably best known for playing L in the live-action movies of Death Note. If you haven't seen them, I recommend you go see them NAOW. They are great! *_* And his acting of L's character is just so, so perfect -- from the way he talks to the way he eats to the way he sits. He really captured the essence of L in real life, and that can't have been easy, especially with adoring fangirls everywherrre. xDD
So I was watching this movie the other day, and it was actually really good. I just have this weird ADD thing about movies. If I'm watching one by myself on the computer, I can't stop pausing and doing other things and distracting myself and "saving the rest for another time" and blaaaah. I annoy the hell out of myself with it, but I haven't figured out a way around it. xD So I haven't actually finished the movie yet. xDD
It's called Shindo, and it's about a girl named Uta (first pic) who is a great piano player and a boy named Oto (second... does he look familiar? xD I totally recognized him when I went back to see which movie that was and saw a little of it and was like... 'OMG! How could I have watched 40 minutes and not recognized one of the main characters?' *faceplant*) who is learning to be, with her help. And then he goes to a piano school, but he's rejected by the top teachers and the only one that takes him on (third pic) is one who knew his deceased dad. And there's another girl in there somewhere, of course. xD It's a little complicated, so I should probably start again from the beginning sometime, preferably before writing a somewhat-detailed review. xD I promise I will! Sometime. >_>
And now I've typed myself out and my RP partner is on, so adios! <33
