Breaks over. Feels like it started yesterday. Overall a rather unsatisfying break. I didn't get to sleep in except the day I headed back to school, I got NO work done, and my time with my BF was restricted by my possible mono.
I may not have been able to sleep in, but I did sleep a lot, in random places, and at random time, because i was so sleepy. A lot of in the car sleeping, and couches at family friend's houses, my couch, my BF's stomach while he was talking to me, but my favorite was the nod off in the middle of a doctor appointment.
I got NO work done, because life hates me, but mostly technology hates me. Dad's printer didn't work, could print my research to read. Home computer doesn't have powerpoint, couldn't write up presentation. Finally, with no access to dreamweaver, couldn't work on websites. Bah.
As for the mono, I don't know if I have it or not. I got tested early wednesday morning, but the results still aren't in. On the bright note I am a blood giving machine. I filled up those the blood viles in like 15 seconds, the only thing holding me back was the speed at which the nurse could change them. I was a bit nervous when the nurse was looking in a PA Health manual before she would stick me. Either she is very meticulous every time, or she was a noob about to gouge my vein out and hose my blood around the room. She didn't gouge the vein out, but she did manage to spill some of my precious life essence on her scrubs. To which I thought "HA! Yes! Infect and multiply!"
The high points of my break were two trips to Wegmans (fuck yeah Wegmans!), a trip to the Troegs microbrewery (fuck yeah free beer!), and seeing Craig (fuck yeah love and devotion!).
Pah. back to classes.
