Lucky Star is all about a class of high school girls and their slice of life adventures. Among them is our main cast of four. One is a "moe-type" girl with glasses, another is a younger sister with a sweet personality, and the other is the oldest sister, who’s slightly more aggressive. Probably the most eccentric female among them all, though, is Konata Izumi.
Konata may not be the prettiest or most endowed girl, but she's the most perfect girlfriend that any otaku would want. She plays MMORPGs and Hentai games, updated with the latest anime (for example: "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi" and "Keroro Gunso" exist in her world). She's top-notch at fighting games and even works at a cosplay café. Though she's very intelligent (as in sometimes she riddles her friends with philosophy and her own otaku trivia), her friends openly note her laziness. For instance, she will ignore her homework while she's playing online games, and then practice her excellent cramming skills at the last minute. That's all part of her random and spontaneous personality in a nutshell. When things disinterest her, though, she gets bored.

The stench is rising, the flute player happens to be a little off-key and maybe two of you are falling out of place - literally. Anyway, we're prepared for do-or-die battle against all that stand against us!
