some interesting tidbits from ICv2 and aodvd about ADV and Sentai Filmworks. for a couple of the titles such as Petshop of Horrors and Jewel Hunter, that is good news. i already have Tsukihime, but for anyone who doesn't, they can pick up this gem of a Type-Moon anime.
not much else going on in the world of anime.
last night when i was leaving the folks, an itty bitty baby bunny started hopping across the road right right next to their house. i stopped to let it go the rest of the way to the safety of their yard, but it stopped in the middle of the road. after a minute of sitting there, i put Kirika in park, turned on the emergency flashers, then got out and walked on over. the lil baby bunny didn't move. it could see me cause its eyes were open, but it just sat there while i crouched down next to it in the middle of the road. i literally could have reached out and petted it. but, then i would have gotten human smell on it and i dun know if its mom was still alive, if it had been weaned already, or what. so, i called mom on my cell phone and had her bring me out a clean hand towel, even when mom came over and with the towel, the lil baby bunny didn't move. i was talking to it the whole time. very carefully, i brought the towel around the back of the bunny and covered it up. it got scared then, but settle down after i picked it up. i carried it over to the middle of the yard, set it down, and then lifted the towel off it and it hopped away.
Mission: Baby Bunbun Rescue - Accomplished!
i could have taken it home and brought it to an animal rescue shelter the next day, but its eyes were open and it wasn't hurt.with that in mind, i would rather just let Mother Nature do her thing.
fresh off the news burner, FUNi has announced they have acquired the brand-new anime Shikabane Hime. r0ck on! from what i have seen so far of the first few episodes i really dig it. hopefully FUNi will consider a boxed set release for this.
