you know if you use black tea instead of water it darkens the color it turns out to be? its pretty awesome, i did it on my hand and it turned this deep red and then i did another package with just water cause i thought it didnt make a difference but it turned out bright orange... so my hands were very mismatched damnit

Hmm, did you possibly get that tip from a little zine called MERMAID #1?? Haha... I'm just kidding, but I've actually never done henna with just water, I've always used tea.

I'm actually gonna be in Folsom this Thursday too- I'm meeting up with Mary and possibly Kelly, but maybe we can all do lunch or something?

What a neat post! Wish I lived in a cool city like San Fran- I can't even think of a place that sells REAL (not shitty/from a mall) gelato around here. :\

Yeah, I'd actually never had gelato before I moved here, I don't think.. and now it seems like whenever I go out every other shop is a gelato place. Of course, this means that I don't really know the difference between real and shitty gelato, but I like it, hehe :) And thanks!
