Well, I've been bad about updating again. I blame school.
Anyways, I have happy news today! At 2:00, there was a Street Fighter 4 tournament that Game Stop was hosting. Tim signed up and played today. He's been practicing all week since we picked up the game on Tuesday and gave it his all.
And he won first place! I'm so proud of him!
He shut everyone down with E. Honda. It was awesome. As a prize, he got a SF4 wristband, a SF4 headband that says he's store champion, AND we got a one night free stay in a jacuzzi suite at the hotel it took place in. It's gonna be nice when we use it.
So, since he won today, he's qualified for the district tournament next Saturday. Unfortunately, it takes place in Fargo, ND, which is eight hours away. We're still stoked and ready for it, though. I think a road trip away from Rapid City will be nice. Tim's already practicing for it now.
