(no subject)
I got my newest boy in from Luts He's a Harang and he is absolutely beautiful! I've wanted him since I first saw him on the website. In addition to Cordell (He'll be at the Tucson doll meet) I also got the Nanuri head...his name is Connery, but I don't have a body for him yet (that'll be my next purchase for sure). In other doll news, I also have a CP TToori (He's MSD sized) which I've named Josiah. (He will also be debuting at the Tucson Doll Meet).
August was a busy month. Kaylee Lynne had her birthday August 2nd and she is a beautiful two year old now. I forgot how fast they grow and how much they learn in a short time. She is still adorable and cute, and not really a terrible two yet. Jarod Alan also had his birthday on August 14th. He turned one and suddenly he looks like he's a pretty cute kid. I always tease Rebel-chan about her son being "almost" cute, but now he really is cute.
I also celebrated my one year anniversary at my new job with BWI and this weekend I am looking forward to a doll meet in Tucson. rei_chan,Avalon_Road,
saishuuressha, and
myriai are all going. Rebel and the two grandkids are coming as well. Hopefully it'll be a fun relaxing weekend. Rebel and the little ones aren't attending the doll meet, just visiting in Tucson. I think a one year old and a two year old would be a bit much amidst all the people and dolls.
It's been hot, hot, hot! here in Phoenix, even by Arizona standards. The latter part of August should not be 112 degrees...nooooooo....why can't I live in Canada or Wyoming or Montana....you get the idea. Washington state would be aokay as well.
Still writing but not making much progress, I think I'm ready to give up original fiction and go back to fanfiction...at least for a little while.
