Liquid Snake ❤❤❤

Otacon claims to no longer be afraid of Liquid. He's changed in the four years since Shadow Moses, and finding a spine is among those changes. To a degree, it's true; he's able to stand up against Liquid and speak far more candidly than the stammering weakling from years ago. But it is a lie for him to claim he's no longer afraid of Liquid--perhaps just denial. The sight of Liquid alone alarms Otacon, rightfully so. He knows the soldier could break him in half with no real effort on nothing more than a whim.

Whether out of stupidity or a hint of stubbornness, Otacon has spoken his mind in person to Liquid regarding the blond's hatred of Snake and paid for it. Not quite knowing when to shut up, he pushed Liquid's famous temper a bit too far and was rewarded by a punch to the face. Despite Liquid's (rather surprising) apology, lesson learned. He's made a note to be much more careful what he says to Liquid in the future.
