Well, seeing as how I've been in summer vacation, I don't have too much to talk about, but it has been awhile. So I shall post.

IST CAMP:
I went to this day camp thing... it was located in a college for science and technology so I felt very comfortable there. Muahahahahaha. Anyways... the premise was... VIDEO GAMES. Yeah, I got to learn about video games for a whole week, so that was quite fun. I also got to take a labtop home, but it didn't have an internet connection or anything, so instead I just played pinball and solitaire a lot. I'm a solitaire addict, what can I say? I got my sister to become seriously addicted, though. She plays solitaire like all the time.

Anyways... the thing was, we had to choose a myth or legend and make a video game about it. The video game part wasn't too hard; we were using this thing called RPGMaker, and it already has a bunch of people and sets you can choose from a decorate. *shrugs* My game wasn't too interesting, though. You just fought a lot of things and that was basically it.

There were a couple of people who were entirely dedicated to making their video game... wherever you saw them go, they had their laptop and were typing things or moving things around. I wanted to play theirs at the end, but we didn't quite have time because we were eating ice cream and listening to the Dean and my parents were too busy playing my game.

Even though my game wasn't great, I'm a little peeved because they were supposed to send me my game on a CDR and I have yet to receive it.

But all in all, I had fun and met another friend. Huzzahs.

FRIENDS:
Ugh, all my friends seem to moving away. One of my friends who I didn't get to see much but knew for awhile just moved to South Carolina and I didn't get to say goodbye. I don't know here address, so our friendship is probably just going to implode into itself. Oh well...

However, some of my friends who are moving up to high school are going to have some parties and invite me and my best friend, so we're going to see them before we have to go back to school. The middle of August is booked party-wise for me... my best friend is having a sleepover, one of my high school friends is having a party and then they're going to have a sleepover sometime after that.

Also, my one friend went to Australia (it was one of those school trips)! I'm kind of jealous, but I'd get waaaay too homesick. She had some credit card trouble, though... (her parents gave her a credit card with $200 for spending money. She didn't plan to use a lot, but when she did use it some, she only had $40. So I felt really bad...) But she went all around... Sydney, the 'Outback'... she seemed to have a lot of fun.

Also, I got tagged by days_of_yore :3. It's been awhile since that happened.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
6. Tag three people.

Sprinkle with basil.

(SERVES FOUR) WHITEFISH BROILED WITH SESAME SEEDS
This tasty fish from the Great Lakes and other northern inland waters can also be pan-sautéed, particularly if you have fillets, but do run the pan under the broiler if you sprinkle the fish with sesame seed- just long enough to toast them as here.

-The Fannie Farmer Cookbook, by Marion Cunningham (then why call it the FANNIE FARMER cookbook? And I don't even LIKE fish that much.)

Yay! So... I shall tag doctor_sasuke, ilandere123, and lynnchan, although I really only expect lynnchan to do anything... but thanks anyways!! :D

VACATION:
I was just on a two week vacation... but we didn't do anything than watch more movies and eat out more than normal... and my parents and sister were home all day... it's because we went to Idaho last year, so... oh well. But it was sortof relaxing.

So... there is my little mumbling of thought! :D Nice to talk to you all again. I shall speak to you people again... sometime... but right now, I shall be off filling my belly with instant oatmeal!
