so went up to traverse city with teh chad and ashley hipps to go see the last of the two stars burning sun reunion shows.

on the way up i saw the most hilarious billboard it was just a picture of an old lady with the caption "i swallowed a camera" i guess it was for a hospital and refering to those lil pill cameras

the bands were great up there, mean mother sounded fantastic and it was neat seeing jason play bass

if he dies he dies tore it the fuck up, i guess they got like 3 hours of sleep after partying at sweat fest but you couldn't tell, i'd like to see a show of theres when they are fresh

the nain rouge had problems with equipment of course, the bassist dropped his thousand dollar musicman like it was nothing and flipped out cutting his head open in the process, they played the three old songs i knew too which was great

two stars was fucking amazing, i cried through the whole set, screamed harder then i ever have and got so much love from tim and david in the process, i always forget to run over to neil during songs but i think he knows i adore him just as much as the other two in that band, i love that they illicit so much emotion from me, this reunion show has pretty much upped my resolve to get the tattoo anbd me and chad will be going thursday to get it

after the two stars set i was called "the most hardcore kid here" by a few people, though toughness had nothing to do with what i was doing, just pure love of music and a message.

today i wait closed and tore it up as usual, played all new stuff i only knew two of the songs they played, tried to get them to play crossbones and traffic jams but they wouldn't cuz the bassist didn't know any of the old ones

all in all it was a great experience, all the bands there were great and the people really showed an appreciation for the music, id have to say it was the least number of people i've seen outside at a show during bands, almost everyone was inside, really says alot for how dedicated those kids are up there
