Finally posting before midnight!
A gorgeous '89 Iroc-Z Z28 camaro entered the household today. My dad found it for real cheap, which is very cool. Fastest car I have ever driven- got put back in the seat something fierce when we opened it up. What's cool is it needs a bit of work, so I get to work on it with my dad, which I will love very much. It's a 5-speed too, so I get to have practice driving a stick before my mission.
When I asked what color it was, my dad said Bronze. So I was thinking, "Dang, it's yellow." But when we went to pick it up, turns out it was /Burgundy/! I got to drive it a bit; mind you, learning a stick on a 250-300+ horsepower car is not the easiest thing. I mean, this car would outaccelerate my grand am in 3rd gear. I do alright, just need to get smoother going from stopped to 1st or 2nd, whichever it's starting in (the car will burn out if started in 1st and floored). Shifting through the gears accelerating is easy once started. Theeen I get to learn when to downshift/upshift on hills and corners. >.>
I'm so distracted I can't play WoW; when I had my '81 camaro, that's where my time went. I love working with my hands, and WoW isn't doing it for me anymore. I just wanna drive! I want to get better with manual shift. Makes me sad that we have a heavy snow warning for tonight =( I won't be to uppity about it once I get some hours in, but I was only able to drive for 15 minutes or so tonight.
