SURPRISE!!!

so here i am, and being the dork that i am, i had to come make an entry and see how LJ life is going without me. i drove all the way home just to go on Live Journal.

alright... maybe not. i realized i forgot a ton of clothes and some other important little things. i swear, this town has a blackhole effect on people. once you think you've broken free- BAM - you're right back at where you started.

cape cod is really fun... i got a job working at a resturant called The Black Duck. they are training me to be a waitress while i work the take out window. the house is pretty much all done, my room is really cozy and i think i got rid of most of the spiders. i think. all 7 of us are finally settled in and last night we had our first big party together. we made friends with the Falmouth baseball team, which is made up of a bunch of guys ages 18-22 who are scouted from all over the country to play in some league on the Cape. so they all came over and we drank until the stupid sun came up... and then i realized i had to work this morning at 11am. i was still half cocked when i got into work and i almost puked in the trash bin while taking people's orders. i hate having busy days after a night of hard core drinking. this one guy who comes over pretty regularly is sooo cheesey, but it's really entertaining. he's pretty hot so i dont understand why he thinks he needs to act so suave, but he does. his pick up line on me? "i will never forget your name... it's the same as my girlfriend's." followed by "i have only had sex with one person" and then pinched my cheeks (I HATE THAT!). all of us just sit there and listen to him cause he comes out with the weirdest one liners. his one on sara: "mind if i rub oil on your back?" definitely a good source of entertainment.

spend our free time smoking bowls and watching movies or at the beach... i'm not trying to sound cool by saying that, but it's true. it's great not having any parents or R.A.'s to worry about. if we want to smoke, we smoke. if we feel like having a party, we just do it. it feels like a huge weight lifted off my chest without my parents in my ear going "britbrit, you need to do your laundry. britbrit, what are you doin tonight? britbrit, come on, stay home..."i think we have gone to blockbuster every night this week. went grocery shopping around 9pm last night. it's kind of fun shopping when it's night time cause there arent many people there. spent 40 bucks on food and was forced to buy all the no-name stuff. "Shaw's syrup of maple" and weird things like that. we ran out of soap for our dishes so all we had to eat with today were chop sticks. but i guess that's what this whole thing is about, doing something different.

alright i guess that's all i have to say before i bore you all to death... mars and eric i appreciate the thoughtful posts and i will find a way to get internet access on the cape!!!
