Fun Community and Pagan Animation Goodness
Found a fun new community the other day which I'd like to share pagan_prompt - basically a writing prompt a week group on Pagan topics.
Also the video I partly showed to Keith and talked about is an old 1980s cartoon movie from Denmark called Valhalla. In short: the film follows two children who get swept up in an adventure with Thor and Loki to deal with one of Loki's nephews. An English subtitled version is on YouTube and some other sites.

Click to viewThe other one I showed a quick clip of was Fehérlófia (Son of the White Mare) - Excerpt - a rather well done Hungarian animation from the early 1980s of a Hungarian Folktale (that is very similar to the Iranian Simorgh tale) and dedicated to the "memory of the Scythian, Hun, Avar, and other Nomad peoples" done in a rather psychedelic style.
Also had two Anime titles: Kamichu! (excerpt) a cute slice of life anime about a teenage akitsumikami (living goddess). And also Arion (excerpt) a bad anime about a son of Prometheus named Arion who takes down the entire Greek pantheon with the help of Seneca - we ran it in the Bad Anime/MST3king room at the last AP.
