welcome to Suckassville
do you ever get that feeling that you miss every aspect of your life? even though your life hasn't taken any drastic turns lately, but you know it's about to and there's nothing you can do to stop it from changing, so therefore you miss everything the way it is now, cuz it won't be that way anymore (i don't know if that deserves a "." or a "?") well, i do. I miss this summer, and it hasn't even happened yet.
I feel like i'm preaching this to absolutely no one, seeing as that's about the extent of my friends left on LJ. As soon as i figure out how to link this to my myspace, i will.
A lot's happened since i last updated. I graduated. I went to a bunch of open houses. I took Joey to his first time at Rocky and we had a blast. The sliding door on Emily's van broke off when we were at Dairy Queen with Joey, Rachel, and Joe.
Joey's birthday party is this saturday. it was supposed to be a surprise. and so was the car his mom's getting him. but he found out about both thanks to someone i won't name but i'm mad at for that... Joey's also grounded indefinitely and was forced to quit the job he just got that he's wanted forever and his mother knows he needs. He failed English and has to take summer school and his mom's gone bazerk over it. i hope she lightens up on him. i felt like i was visiting him in jail today when my mom let me go over there and see him for 5 minutes. at least i finally got him the present i'd wanted to get him.
i'm working 2 jobs now. still at Movies 8. Now i work at this coffee/snack stand at the Y too. i'll be outside by the pool most of the time. i can't wait. it makes me sick though, cuz it's the same job that Joey was forced to quit. i told my boss there that if his mom ever changes her mind, i want him to have that job over me. I'll quit and give it to him. he deserves it, and it's the least i can do.
We're going to the Counting Crows & Goo Goo Dolls concert on July 8th and my open house is next weekend. Yay.
