(no subject)
Home for the weekend. It was un-eventful, slightly dull, cold, gas is expensive....AND AMAZING. That's exactly what I NEEDED. I needed to chill, I needed to get away from the weird Amherst climates, I needed down-time....And I never thought I'd miss Vineyard Gray skies, but yeah....
Seeing Michael really made me feel a lot better. I saw him, Katrina, Jonah....It was just the best. I had Gio's slices for lunch, Mom made meatballs once, Michael took me out to the Slice of Life....I went to the beach for a bit, I drove around, hit the Last Day sale at my old work, the Ice Cream and Candy Bazaar, saw Jack, my old boss at Alley's....I needed to do that, I missed Karen's funeral, and he is still so sad about everything. But I feel like I put him in a slightly better mood for a few minutes there. Awwww Jack.
So here I am. Back in Amherst. It's like my world stopped for a bit, I got to have the best weekend, and I am back- Work, school, homework, Rocky, Chamber Chore, Women's Choir, just....Everything is back. But I needed this weekend for my sanity.
And now I shower, I have a big day. Wish me luck!
I thought the date thingy said "December 11th" and I was like, "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and then it said October again. Fuck.
