The demons in my head
So I got my ass sent home again today. I'd like to think that it was out of concern for my own well-being, but I think that everyone was more concerned with not getting themselves sick. Basic human instinct, yes, but I still wish anyone out in Amherst gave a damn.
On a MUCH brighter note, I GET TO SEE CASEY TOMORROW! We're having the awesome Chamber Choir kids hang out in the city (And believe me, there is a dichotomy, there are asshole/diva Chamber types, and then us, that is, just the divas....) So the group shall consist of Casey, me, Lillian, Annie, Annie's NY friend Hannah, Greg, Robyn, and Brandon. Because, well, we are the most awesome people. Period. We hope to see Phantom or whatever good/cheap show we can get tickets for. I am so excited.
Tonight is not the usual Annie/Shannon/Kait Girl's Night, as Annie and I have to be up at 6:30 for NY tomorrow. So it's a lazy Early Girly Night. (I love the cheese factor!) We're getting Wings to Go and also this awesome "secret" place that bakes warm cookies to order and delivers. We'll watch a cheesy movie, primp for the city, and try to look as good as possible. See, there are NO SHOWERS involved on this trip, so we are ahowering late late tonight and looking as awesome as possible.
We have to dress in earth tones. Is a chocolate-brown linen skirt, pumpkin-y tank top, and ivory/dusty-colored sheer wrap blouse earthy enough? I am wearing gold/brown sandals and earthy stuff, I hope that's passable.
I AM SO EXCITED.
I had a terrible dream earlier. For any of you that KNOW me, you know my irrational fear of dogs (or any other four-legged creature) and how I freak out. (Long story short: Age two, Rottweiler, in the stroller clawing and growling, scarred for life!) more or less I was getting attacked in my bed by dogs, there was one on my CHEST, biting me. Then I thought I woke up, but it was one of those dreams where you are still sleeping, and I "woke up" and was really late for choir and getting yelled at and THEN I really woke up.
It makes no sense, but I know I called like 2 people crying.
