Little less heavy on the angst and emo and shit. I haven't been around much the last.. uh, week or so. Mom's been off a while, so we've been cleaning the house ("I want it cleaned, not just picked up!") and buying a couple of books, and just.. doing the 'not on the internet very much' thing.
+ I have a new hoodie. Nice lighter one, in case it's not cool enough to use my other one. HOODIE SEASON IS ALMOST UPON CENTRAL TEXAS. I eagerly await it.
+ I got The Devil's Rose and The Plucker by Brom (why is his art so pretty?), a Gears of War book (even though I haven't played much of the game yet...), and Baltimore, or The Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden. Good stuff. I'm starting on The Plucker first.
+ My appointment with the heart docs is set for Friday, at 11am. I doubt they're going to find anything because, so far, no one seems to have found anything. The doc checked me out (twice now), they drew blood (Feb.), they took x-rays (Aug.), and now I'm getting this ultra-sound for my ticker. My chest is still bothering me though. Or at least it did tonight. I dunno. I'll have to see how I feel the rest of this week I guess.
+ Mom had the sense to break up with her boyfriend after he decided it was okay to call her things like fat, chubby, and thunder thighs (I didn't even realize people still used that one??), and made fun of how she sleeps sometimes. What a jackass. I'm glad she had sense to not try working that out with him. >8(
+ I was watching 'Merlin' (I've been meaning to for awhile), but then I got to the preview for episode.. 4? 5? And there was ~*~Lancelot~*~ and I quit watching. I'll start up again! Soon or later. Lancelot just.. man. I didn't like him in the original stories, and even though 'Merlin' reimagines the story quite a bit? I don't think I'm going to be able to like him now either. >:/ He was so great! and then.. BETRAYAL, MOTHERFUCKER. There is a special place in hell for people like Lancelot. 8( Best thing he ever did was Galahad's mum. B)
