Teen pregnancy

Just got to know from IT Guru about this case, oh dear. Well, Chicago Tribune says there was no pact, who knows.

I think teen pregnancy is bad, and children should be educated about contraception stuff and other necessary things like that. Including something about how to take care of the baby. Talking to friends who have children, I start thinking the whole baby thing is much more hard than any childless person can ever imagine. Also, I like the phrase I saw in childfree community "I don't want children because child is the only thing in the world that you can never abandon. You can move to live separate from the parents who annoy you, you can change the job you don't like, you can divorce the husband you don't love any more, but you can't get rid of your child".

It was actually a Russian community, so people there feel a lot of pressure from families and friends, since Russian culture assumes every woman must give birth, and if she doesn't then something is wrong with her and she will never be happy.

But I wonder if those 17 girls were thinking the same. Articles say they were more happy to find they were pregnant rather than not. I think American culture is also very children-oriented, but is there an actual pressure to have children that people might believe that much?
