The IT Guru said my monitor might have died because of the weather. Called the guys from whom I bought it, will be visiting them on Saturday, with monitor. I have that pack in which it came, IT Guru said it should be packable back into it, so it'll be easy to carry it. The OEM guys are in Manukau, on Gt South Rd. How come this rd has two 710 buildings? Or maybe even three... I tracked the bus route and got scared, it counts to thousand something and starts from beginning again... I'm totally lost, but yay for the very helpful MAXX website! So on Saturday two of us - me and monitor - will go for a check to see what's wrong. The guys said that it looks like indeed the monitor problem, and they said it's on warranty for 3 years, so I need then to find the papers that came with it, and to find how better pack the poor little thing.
In the meantime I'll try to reanimate my laptop to see if the current little job can be done on it *sigh*
