What exactly you mean when you say "if I look pretty I do it for myself, not for others"? Does it make difference for you? Do you like yourself more when you look pretty? Do you then like yourself less when you look not that pretty?
I'm not saying it for the sake of argument, I'm simply trying to understand something that seems so obvious for everybody else, and though I keep agreeing with it I totally miss the sense.
I think I look pretty when it's necessary (like on job interview that requires appropriate look), or when I wanna people to notice me, or in a larp playing a role. So it appears that I always look pretty for others only, and never for myself, because my attitude to me doesn't change however I look. Is it a bad thing?
