RIP Rob

Some sad news for anyone who’s interested.
Rob, the landlord of the Fawcett Inn died suddenly on Wednesday. The cause of death is uncertain but it hardly matters. Whatever it was that took him has left the greatest pub I’ve ever been in down a vital member.
Granted, I hadn’t known Rob as long as most of the regulars in there but in the year that I did know him I found out all I needed to. He was a kind bloke, always up for a laugh and a great DJ. He was also a man of few words, but that was okay. His actions spoke volumes, through Jac and through the atmosphere he created in the Fawcett.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and more so by those who didn’t.
