This is a new journal, sort of an extension of an old one, I suppose. It's a fandom-y one. That's just what's on my mind these days. I don't know how much writing I'll do or if it'll be graphics-y, but we'll see. I really wanted a reading journal, so I can keep up with the fic I want to read and the shows I want to watch and the graphics I like to play with. You know, post to comms and ...stuff.
I'm currently in the middle of the White Collar pilot, which I'm liking very much. My mom and sister have been bugging me for a month to watch, and it's not that I didn't want to, I just wanted to start at the beginning. She just didn't realize she had to say "natalie morales" to get me to pick up the pace a little. I'm awfully sad about the middleman being canceled, but I hard-core love that show.
I am currently between books, a state I hate, but I sorta just went on a reading binge and bolted down, like, four young adult novels in about half the time it usually takes me to get through two. It was weird. I read: Hero, Marked, Blue Bloods, and A Secret Edge. Interesting, all, but I think I liked Hero the best, and the vampires...I haven't decided which verse I prefer just yet. A Secret Edge was cool, but it took itself a little too seriously or something. More melodramatic than Hero, which is about superheroes, if that tells you anything.
I'm behind (again) on watching my Supernatural--I want something GOOD to happen to these guys, you know? damn. And I'm only a bit back on SGU, which I'm liking surprisingly well (I was prepared to hate it. I don't care enough about it to really muster up strong emotions. I just like the actors and am willing to enjoy the stargate verse, you know? oh, and, really it's ming na, alania huffington, the kid that plays sharp, and eli that I like. the others are growing on me, just...slowly I suppose. Lou Diamond Phillips makes me want to throw something at the tv, he's such a superior douche. ok, to be fair, his character makes me want to do that, but still.
Other than that, I watch Glee and Castle and Bones most religiously. And Merlin. Because, well--Merlin. I've grown a recent and inexplicable fascination with the Disney Empire. I have no idea, but there it is.
I don't expect this journal to be all "OMG, Explicit Adult Concepts?!" but, well, I swear, I read a huge variety of stuff and rec on occasion, and i don't want any fourteen year old stumbling onto some random kink recs I think everyone should love. so that's what's up with that.
