The Start of the End...
So here it is. The Second semester of my senior year. There's no where to run to anymore. Theres only new and great things ahead of me. I'm so pumped to be a second semster senior. The rest of my year is going to be AMAZINGLY easy. I have 5 classes during the day, 3 free periods, and i get out of school in MAY! I'm pumped. I rediscovered that i have a livejournal a couple days ago, so im gonna try and update everyday or update about everyday between now and the end of my high school career. So heres the start of my 2nd semster.
Day 1: January 16, 2008
So wednesday was my last day of finals. Theres technically 3 days, but i didnt take a foreign language or science this year, so i didnt have to go in on thursday. Since i was techinically on a sort of "break," i decided to suprise my gf lilli and take her out to eat. I was gonna get her from her house, but she ended up goin on to eat w. some friends of hers. so i met em up at hercules coney island. she wasnt very happy to see me at first cause she said she looked horrible, btu she always looks amazing to me. so i ate w. her, leann, jayme, and amanda. it wasw fun. we had some good laughs and some good food. then lilli and i went back to her house and just watched tv and enjoyed each others company. i left at around 5 so she could study, then i got home and just chilled.
Day 2: January 17, 2008
i woke up at around 9 or so. Sleeping in is amazing. I hung around the house and did my chores or w.e. I drove my grandma home around noon, then went home and talked to lilli on the phone for a couple hrs. At around three i headed over to angelas to hang with her and maureen. we sat around and had some good laughs. we played some songs on the piano, watched some random videos, and reminisced on the good old days. around 5 i left for show choir that started at 530. i got to UD in 20 min. it drive fast if you cant tell. I had show choir and it was an all around good time. afterwards, i dropped off damaris and ramil and headed home. Lilli was there and we hung out for a couple hourse. It was our 5 month anniversary. Thats right, ive been in a relationship for 5 months. i love lilli. shes amazing. She left around 11 canse i had a long day on friday. and when i say long day i mean, LONG day.
Day 3: January 18, 2008
The day of reckoning had arrived. My first long drive on my own. it wasnt really that big a deal, but whatever. I got up around 6am and started my long journey out to MSU at 630am. I had an audition. the drive was about 2 hrs including my stop for gas. i was on the phone w. lilli for a lot of the trip cause she was gettin ready for school and didnt have much to do. that definately made time fly by.
i got to state and managed to meet up with angela and her mom. we sat in their van and just relaxed until our audition times.
i took my piano placement exam and passed a class already. at 9:25 i had my aural skills exams which was CAKE. at 10am i had my interview which was very interesting. the guy who interviewd me was kool. at 1115am i had a general meetin with the profesors and the other students there to audition. after the meeting, i took a theory exam that im sure i failed. it was SO hard.
then i had a good hr and a half break, so i got in my car and headed over to hang with my friend rose gibbons. she took me out to lunch and the cafeteria and we ate and talked. ross egan woke up and came and chatted with us for a bit, then i headed back to the music area for my audition.
i sang the national anthem and "getting to know you" from the king and i for my audition. i sang well, and was happy after i left the room. i then made my long trek back to u of d for rehearsal.
rehearsal was fun. we went over all the songs we knew so far, and renee wasnt exactly happy. some people forgot what we had learned before the week off. but it all got a lil better as the practice went on. boumer and lauren myrand were there and i was happy to see the both of them. it was laurens bday, and i hadnt seen her in a millenium, so i was really happy to see her. after rehearsal i hoped in my dads car and headed off to the pistons gmae. (he had come to UD and taken my car home already)
the game was sweet. we got there w. plenty of time to spare. as we were heading to my dad's boss's suite, i told him i was gettin ready to bet money he would run into someone he knew. as i said this he looked over and said "hey, hey!" i thought he was joking, but sure enough, he did find a couple of guys he knew from SOMEWHERE. he amazes me sometimes. we get to the suite and it was AWESOME. couches, good food, private bathroom, great view: it was wats good. even though the pistons lost, it was still a good time. i went home and was WHIPED! it was a long but very fun day
Day 4: January 19, 2008
lounged around the house not really doing anything. I helped my dad put a new mirror on my car, and that was about it at home. i got showered up and dressed and headed over to lillis house at 5. i got there around 6 and we just chilled. we went out to eat at hercules then headed over to leanns hosue. she was havin a "lets celebrate the end of finals" party. the theme was "get classy to get trashy"/"get dressed up to get messed up". it was a lot of ppl drinking and wat not, but w.e. me and lilli stayed sober. the cops somehow got called by someone, and they showed up at leanns house. some ppl tried to leave right away when the threat of cops was up, but others just stayed and chilled. lilli and i didnt wanna be there ne more, so we headed out.
of course we werent tired at all, so we decieded to head over to boumers to chill for a bit. we watched law and order, and chipmunk versions of hsm songs online. it was sweet. we both got tired, then headed back to her hosue around 3
we got home, and went to bed. we were both tired as hell.
Day 5: January 20, 2008
lilli and i woke up around 9 and jsut watched tv at her house. we ate pancakes and got ready for rehearsal. around noon we headed over to UD. rehearsal was pretty good i guess. i need to start memorizing my lines. :-P. rehearsal got out around 5, then a bunch of us went to ferndale to watch steve and robbies band play "ferndale idol". his band made it through, so congrats to them
i got home, played piano, and jsut chilled. it was a long 5 days so i went to bed around 9. im still kinda tired
Day 6: January 21, 2008
Today is MArtin Luther King Day, so no one has school. Its also the 13 yr anniversary of my mothers death...wow i just got a chill...though i dont really want to do anything, i have rehearsal at chaplains at 2. it should be fun.
