So it seems we have lost familiar faces yet again. Yet along with that, many entirely new ones...

I have come to a conclusion, Father. I believe the answer is yes.
All living things are created with souls, and as a God of Death, we bear the responsibility for them. Even though the soul of a tree, a flower, an insect may not have the complexity or power of the human one, our duty does not change - we must be there at the end.

I'm glad that it seems as if even here we attempt to keep the balance of Justice. For every wrongdoing, there is a punishment, and within this a certain symmetry to the human condition. It makes this place seem somewhat brighter.
...On another note entirely, perhaps I should be pleased I seemed to have missed April 1st. What horrible things did you manage to do to each other?
