Liz, Patti, your company at the party was appreciated. I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused.

As some of you are already aware, I have now moved with my Father to the Memoria Apartments. At last I may enjoy some peace and quiet at 2 in the morning. Perhaps. As he has previously mentioned, the door is literally always open.

Being shinigami, neither of us are at all affected by this weather.

IT IS VERY CONVENIENT! For us.

But for everyone else, it could be dangerous. Cold like this is not good for humans, you see! It is uncomfortable and their pipes may freeze.

Also frostbite and hypothermia.

BEING SHINIGAMI, IT IS OUR DUTY TO DO...SOMETHING. We must help everyone!

While I do agree father, I'm afraid I don't have an idea as what it is we can do. Perhaps build a fire?

Though I would have to arrange it, and monitor it to make certain it burns in a proper fashion.

THAT IS A GOOD START!

Also possibly get blankets and...something. SOUP! TEA! I have plenty of tea to share.

Oh, and be sure to call that Tear lady cute if you ever meet her.

I will see what I can arrange. Tsubaki has a position at the onsen, perhaps she would be willing to assist.

Yes, I have met Tear--

Is there a reason I would call her cute?

She seems very concerned that she is, in fact, not cute! Using my POWERS OF DEDUCTION, I have come to the conclusion that she would like to be thought of as cute!

I imagine coming from a strapping young lad, she would greatly appreciate the sentiment! She is a very nice lady~ We should make her feel happy and welcomed~

I'm certain she is--

That is perhaps not the approach--

It may strike her as odd to have--

I don't believe I can simply walk up to her and declare her "cute," Father.

Oh? Really?

Hmm! I remember when it was once customary to compliment a lady whenever! Ah, how times change~

Still do it.
