I would like to extend my thanks for all the thoughtful gifts, I very much appreciate them. The dolls are quite strange, but intriguing. Each individual seems to have its own symmetry, then is placed inside another. I can't decide...

...and I suppose with everyone I know deciding to take up teaching, I may have to observe class briefly. Just out of ( Read more... )

Kid. You have to tell me what you know about souls. Everything.

They're important to our world, but I still don't know the full extent. We have to figure this out somehow.

Of course, I'll tell you what I remember, but it is still an unfortunately meager amount. I believe Shinigami has remember something of them as well, and may know more than myself currently.

What is it that you already know? We can start from there.

All right, thanks. I need to talk to everyone who knows something about them... we might be able to piece something together with everyone's help. I'll talk to Professor Shinigami, and Chrona, and anyone else who might have information, whether they're from our world or not.

I haven't remembered much. But... I attended a school called Shibusen, and there was a boy -- Soul Eater Evans. He was my... "weapon", but I'm not sure exactly how, though he did... eat souls? I remember we had to collect ninety-nine souls, and then one soul that was special somehow... but I still don't know why.

It's really frustrating. I can remember things, but at the same time it's like there's weird gaps in my knowledge.

My own memory is like that. Facts that seem important or required for some knowledge to make sense seem to be blocked in some way.

As I'm sure you have heard, Father ran Shibusen- though neither of us have remember the exact curriculum. This is the first I have heard of collecting souls, but it does follow working under Shinigami himself.

My own memory is only of the ability to see them, as well as a semblance of being able to garner some respects of an individual's nature from that. I'm sorry I cannot be of more help at this time. Anything I remember relating to Shibusen or souls I will relay directly to you.

It's so annoying. I'd rather know everything or nothing at all.

Yeah, though I still can't wrap my head around that still don't know what collecting souls has anything to do with it... besides the seeing them... and the whole thing about the weapons really bothers me. I can't figure it out.

Thanks, Kid. That was a big help. The ability to see souls is interesting -- I wonder if everyone from our world possesses that power. And I appreciate further information a lot. I'll be sure to tell you if I find out anything more, too. I hope we can remember more soon.

Your own mind working again against you is certainly more than annoying, yes.

I had a brief memory of two guns, though those appear to be actual weapons, as opposed to a human you seem to be referring to.

It's entirely a possibility- I spoke with someone who also has the ability with whom I've remember no previous connection. It could be related to Shibusen itself.

Of course, any help I can provide in gathering information I will gladly do so.

Objects, humans... And then there's Ragnarok, who isn't quite either one, but still seems to be a weapon. Chrona remembered collecting souls, too.

Hmm. Thanks, Kid. I really appreciate it.

There are still many huge gaps we need to fill before this begins to make sense it appears. Has Chrona remembered anything of importance aside from that?

You're welcome, Maka, it is useful to be able to gather what knowledge we have.
