My interview at the Shedd went really well. I got there, gave my presentation (which they seemed to like a lot), then answered a bunch of questions. When I was answering questions, there was a lot of nodding and it looked like they liked my answers well enough. Then, at the end, I was told there was a surprise part of the interview.
Turns out, I had to walk through the crowd at the Shedd with a prop so they could watch how I interacted with guests. Like, the actual visitors at the aquarium. Woah. It was a bit nerve racking at first, since I was just walking around with a lizard puppet. But it got easier, and I was only out there for about three minutes or so. I got to tell people about Rock Iguanas though. It was neat.
I should hear back from them in a couple weeks since there are still a group of people to interview. I'm still pretty nervous, but I think I did well. I just hope I did well enough...
