(no subject)
Most people know this already, but in case you didn't, I'm moving to Chicago in about two weeks. Right now, I'm in Colorado still. It's been okay here, but things can be a little dull. Seeing my family has been great, but I'm really ready to move on.
Thankfully, mtrsknightshade is also ready to move out, and we've found a pretty awesome studio that'll be available in mid February. It's a studio, so we'll be a bit squished for a bit, but I'm just glad to have someplace to go. I've been excited about moving for a few weeks now, but at this point I'm pretty ecstatic. For serious. I'm ready to get on with things and move on with my life. Plus my new soon to be roomie is pretty freakin' awesome. Even though we only met a short time ago, she's already been a great friend. And I can see siriuswolfstar grinning already 'cause you totally saw this coming. So phhbt.
Hopefully I'll also get a job at the Shedd Aquarium as well. It's a super awesome job giving tours of the aquarium and leading presentations. Plus I'd get to do the intro to the marine mammal show, which sounds like tons of fun. I should hear about an interview in a couple weeks, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Getting this job would just be the icing on the cake of the awesome that is moving to Chicago.
So that's pretty much all I have going on right now. Planning, packing and just being excited about moving a ton closer to people I care about. Weeee!!
