Autumn photos! Well, one at the very beginning of autumn, with only a few yellow leaves, and two others with a little higher autumn color.
There are covered bridges dotted all over Indiana, on back roads, so you can't find them unless you're meaning to. It would be lovely, though, sometime, to round a curve and see an unexpected covered bridge ahead.
Chelsea and I had an autumn tea (leaf-shaped chocolates courtesy of
poeticknowledge. We had such a nice time that we're planning a second one at the beginning to November! Even though November is an odd and in-between month: it's certainly not winter yet, but it no longer quite feels like autumn, either.
I should think what would make a good November tea. Something brown and crackly, I think. Pecan bars, perhaps, and brittle dark toffee... In fact I just did some research, and there's a special bonfire toffee associated with Guy Fawkes Night. Possibly I should have a party.
The leaves are not stunning all over this year, but in the park they are: I've been hiking in the park on all my days off, to walk through the falling gold.
