yesterday..
yesterday:
yesterday was.. okay.. well.. let's start at the beginning.. i had like two hours of sleep last night, so when i got to school at 5.00.. well, let's say that the hard part wasn't waking up, it was staying awake.. although, the manual labor we did took care of that.. we moved barriers and stuff around and just all around set up... and i have to say, the school looks so beautiful in the hours before dawn.. it the contrast of the shadows and the cones of lights are just.. hehe.. yeah.. anyways.. the set up was highlighted by a bright flash in the sky above us about half an hour before dawn.. and i still have no idea what the flash was.. hehe.. anyways..
8.00 finally rolls around and set was complete.. so i walked around.. and chatted.. and tried to fix the clock in the stadium (sorry to harry and chu.. we tried.. kinda a wasted 12 minutes, but oh well..).. and then finally jade showed up and the whole morning just kinda got that much brighter.. hehe.. and then the warm ups for the race started (led by beatrice).. so during that i decide to go and check out the jazz band's set up.. which led to the problem of no trumpets.. so i ran down (that was my exercise for the day) to the bandroom, grabbed my trumpet, and ran back up.. only to find that islas has decided that he will play for a while and then run.. but i'm too lazy to go back so i decide to stay.. and then bola shows up and josh decides he's gonna do the same as islas (and shorty and crespo and others) and suddenly have four trumpets.. too bad.. i'm not leaving.. haha.. not that it mattered anyways.. it was fun.. played most of the race time.. and moved over to the finish a little later.. it was.. interesting.. haha.. islas finally disappeared.. wayy after narumi went by, but he must've ran the entire thing because he finished quite a bit ahead of him.. course then he collapsed but.. hehe.. whatever.. he's islas.. anyways...
after the race we hung around for a while and jade and i decided what to do.. or.. well.. how to do what we wanted.. finally we figured everything out and.. yeah.. haha...
after we went home and changed and cleaned up and all that.. jade and her parents picked me up at school (where i had been watching uriel, abe, kingson, and franco play A-S-S) and we went to the getty.. that was.. hmm.. interesting on the way over.. i wanted to ask her parents if she could go to formal with me.. and god.. i was SOOO nervous.. so i chickened out on the way over.. i kept telling myself that i would ask them on the way back...
so we got to the getty.. and we took the ride up in the tram.. which we spent standing up.. you should see the people vying for a seat.. haha.. it's hilarious.. anyways.. we got to the top.. and we couldn't decide what to do.. so i told jade that i wanted her to choose.. and she did... hehe.. first we went through the french paintings.. it was interesting.. i guess i'm just not a french art type of person.. hehe.. we walked by a room she said was always crowded, and when i asked why she decided to take me in.. which just led to me seeing anyways.. anyways.. it was the room with the monet and and all that stuff.. hehe.. after that we went to the cameron exhibit.. those was the most amazing photographs i've ever seen.. and the picture of the cherub.. just click it.. you have to see it.. it's.. amazing.. simply amazing.. god.. hehe.. that was beautiful.. after that we went to just have a look around and looked at this exhibit on stained glass.. as my love put it, it was a nice concept.. they had the pieces in a dark room with light behind them.. but.. it just wasnt all that great.. anyways... after that was this exhibit on ancient stuff like plates and illuminated letters.. that was.. nice? hehe.. after that we kinda slipped into this exhibit on glass.. that was pretty... after that we explored the gardens.. and saw this lil exhibit on comic type stuff.. interesting.. hehe.. and then we had some lunch/dinner.. hehe.. it was good.. except this bee kept bugging us.. hehe.. after that, we went up to the top of one of the buildings and watched the sunset.. god.. that was.. god.. hehe.. yeah.. it was beautiful.. amazing.. wonderful... and there is no one i would've rather spent that time with.. god.. it was.. god.. hehe.. okay.. after that we went to the houdon exhibit.. that was nice.. the eyes are kinda creepy, but yeah.. hehe.. and then there was summer and winter.. man.. those were awesome.. if you get a chance.. just.. go to the getty.. it's amazing..
so finally we get picked up by her parents.. and they took me home.. but before i left i asked them about formal.. god.. i've never EVER been that nervous before.. and i know there's only one time i ever will be again.. hehe.. but.. i think jade knows when that is too.. i hope.. hehe.. if not.. she'll ask me.. hehe.. anyways.. they said yes.. and so i left with the biggest smile on the outside.. and a sadness on the outside, knowing that i wouldnt see my love until monday morning.. oh well.. it's the weekend.. i've actually begun to hate the weekends.. i mean.. i know i'll love them again after a certain time.. but until then.. yeah..hehe.. anyways...
god.. yesterday was.. yesterday was just, simply, the best day ever.. it was the best day i've ever experienced.. and it's so amazing knowing that i will have so many more in my lifetime..
