I was itching the entire day to show this off but family and strange internet connections prevented me. *flails* No worries now, but run, run, run to my Snupin Santa gift:

Homecoming by
zephre. (rating: R) Remus has been waiting (and worrying) a long time for Severus to report back from his latest summons...
So I asked for "Remus buggering/kissing Severus against a window/transparent shower curtain/anything transparent." My first reaction when I saw it was to go NNNNNGGGGGHHHHH *DROOL* because everything is amazing. You'll have to see it for yourself and judge, but may I just say that the fingers, the palms, the hands are perfect, along with everything else. Just...GAH. And just in case you want a sneak peek: take a look at my brand-spanking new Snupin icon. >:3
...Oh, wow, I never thought I'd say that I have a brand-spanking new Snupin icon. ETA: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU,
zephre! I totally love your work! Everyone, click this now!

Those I can Save by
bronze_ribbons. (rating: PG) "Snape finds that some of the poorer Slytherin parents have named him guardian of their children should anything happen to them. Now they're dead, and he's saddled with the kids. Meanwhile, Lupin recovers only to learn that some of the werewolves have left orphans with no one to look after them but him. [...] Considering the political climate, neither of them trusts the Ministry."
This is a long but satisfying take on how Severus heals after the war, and how Remus and the children help him. Hooch, Pomfrey and Pince are great characters from the build-up of the story.
Also, if this isn't
innerslytherin, I'll eat my hat. :P ETA: *EATS HAT* ZOMG. I should have known that any fic with Hooch, Pomfrey, and Pince as part of the story background, it'd be
bronze_ribbons. How could I have forgotten?!

Reintroducing the Wolf by
schemingreader. (rating: NC17) "Remus Lupin has a new job teaching large animal biology at Hogwarts University in Wisconsin. His difficult but attractive former highschool classmate Severus Snape already teaches history there. It takes their graduate students' clumsy machinations to bring them together. (Non-magical alternative universe.)"
This is an amazing and intelligent story. The conversations were wonderful. There are some POV changes that I believe could have been handled better, but everything else is perfect and wonderfully done.
Later, I'll probably do more since I'm catching up, but those are the ones I want to get off my chest for now. :)
ETA (01/07/2008): Snupin Santa has been revealed, so the artists and writers are now up. :3 Go read!
