Coffee Time
Making it early to the office results in me being the guy that always has to make the coffee. I kinda like doing that, with the scent of the freshly ground coffee beans wafting through in my nostrils and the empty office all to myself, I go about humming away, filling the pot with water and placing the filter in place.
There is someone from the support staff who actually cleans up the pantry each evening, and I find it nice and spotlessly clean in the mornings. But they don't make the coffee.
I guess its probably because they know I like doing it, and after a short jog from the parking lot to my floor, with my ipod blasting away some music in full volume, its always nice to switch to a playlist that has some mellow classical music while I go about being a brewmaster.
It is indeed ironic that the coffee that I am sipping right now is cold. I always take it out hot, but I end up drinking it cold. Warming it is redundant.
Pah.
