Ramble on...
I would like to start this post by thanking all of you who have left me uplifting comments and everything encouraging. Thank you ALL. I was at a low point, but let me tell ya, it started picking up once again with massive speed! I spent the first 3 days of the next week taking care of my friend's baby, Blixa. :) Adorable 2 year old fireball of cute! Taking care of her was the perfect therapy I needed and I had no idea until the first day when we spent time playing with paper plates and watching Super Milk Chan. lol You can't be sad one bit around this kid. She just ROCKS, and will be the future ass-kicker of Breakcore music, just like her old man.
Shortly after taking care of Blixa, I got a call from PACE about another hospital job, this time at Children's Hospital doing groundskeeping. What? No Material Mgmnt anymore? And I thought, "There's no way I want to be a groundskeeper"...then another thought hit, "Food is a good thing", so I immediately said yes to having the interview. Now keep in mind; I have been working in the hospital field for a little over a year now, and the foliage, if you will, at the 3 Group Health locations were very dismal...but Children's Hospital? That's a whole new ball of wax.
I have never been there before, so rolling up to that place put a whole new perspective on groundskeeping for me: the place was beautiful in both interior and exterior, flowers, plants and you name it from ALL OVER THE WORLD. Big wow, here. Needless to say I was impressed, SO...
The interview went great and I got hired and now I have been slaving over the hot sun doing all sorts of dirty work, and I come home haggard, sweaty and tired...and I LOVE it. Too bad it only lasts until the end of September, but I think I will have my sufficient fill by then. xD

This night is very important to me. We have reached a low point in the economy where its hard to afford damn near anything you want, let alone food. Food banks have become crowded because of the cost of living, tacked with gas prices and the urge to spend money on useless junk, and lets not forget bills! More people are going hungry and most are hard working citizens like you and me. Hell, I may be heading to one soon, but this isn't about me, this is about EVERYONE. I love where I live and I want to stay, and I want to help, and you can! Please come to this event. With special thanks to Northwest Harvest, we can help break the back of this hunger problem. There will be brochures to see all the possibilities you can do to help. For all I'm concerned, this will be a monthly thing for me.
So please, I beg you to come to this, and bid you welcome. ^^
