All sorts of goings on
I would like to let everyone know, that March 30th at the Mercury is, in fact, still happenening. I wanted to touch base with Sakuracon themselves and there were a few issues that have been easily smoothed out. However, I have to start back from square one, but that is okay. I was a little pessimistic at first, but I do believe this can happen.
I understood them when my night is called "Fuck It", and they were'nt comfortable being associated with a night called as such. I honeslty could'nt agree more. Calling my night "CENSOR" was NOT in retaliation to S-con, no. I find it actually a fun play on words and also my little tribute to SKINNY PUPPY, seeing that when they brought out the single "DogShit" they released it to the public as "CENSOR", so there ya go.
This is not going to sway me one bit, and I still am proud to say I have been going to S-con since 2000, and plan on still going for years to come. I am also thankful that I have the opportunity to judge 2 years in a row now. Its a real treat.
