Didn't get the San Diego Zoo job.....blah...there goes a few hundred dollars down the drain....atleast i can claim expenses on my taxes. But i jsut sent off my updated resume to the Brookfield Zoo in chicago for a small mammal/large carnivore position...so...maybe something will come of that!
I went to the indie theater and saw the film "Shortbus." If you are offended by nudity, sex, asians, gays, or people with ambiguous sexuality...then this movie is not for you. The beginning is quite shocking if you dont really know what to expect...the actors are introduced to the story while participating in a sexual act....and REAL sexual act...no sneaky camera angles to hide body parts or body contact or bodily fluids....the real thing and NO it was not porn. But the basic plot of the movie is about how each of the characters have some sort of issue with sex and relationships...and how they go to this club call "shortbus" to discover their selfs. There is the asian chick sex therapist who has never had an orgasm....the dysfunctional gay couple who want to open up their relationship with new partners....and the dominatrix who cant connect with anyone. Its a well made film...well acted...and it doesn't sugar coat the topic of sex. Anyway, i recommend seeing it for yourself...it's pretty funny...and a good movie.
